Summary of characteristics of target article[edit]

A "GA (Good Article)" level article is well-constructed and organized. It provides useful and factual information, and a reader looking for a general sense about the topic should find everything they need. The only things lacking would be a peer review of the material and touch-ups by Wiki style experts.

Citing Articles[edit]

Recently, more and more types of "Parkinsonian Syndromes"^[1] are being identified. Some of these syndromes, such as PSP and CBD are being recognized as their own pathologic diseases.^[1] In another study, a strong correlation between Parkinson's and depression was found.^[2] The increase in recent diagnosis of Parkinson's may possibly be linked to this.

Very limited information is available as to the original discovery of exoenzymes. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, the term "exoenzyme" was first recognized in the English language in 1908^[3]. The book "Intracellular Enzymes: A Course of Lectures Given in the Physiological," by Horace Vernon is thought to be the first publication using this word in that year^[4]. Based on the book, it can be assumed that the first known exoenzymes were pepsin and trypsin, as both are mentioned by Vernon to have been discovered by scientists Briike and Kiihne before 1908^[5].

- functions as a exoenzyme in extrahepatic tissues on the surface of endothelial cell capillaries
- regulates the uptake of triacylglycerols from chylomicrons and low density liproteins from other fatty tissues in the body (adipose, heart, muscle)
