Peggy Ursila Plet (Paramaribo, 1966) is a researcher and writer with special interest in Afro-Surinamese Women’s history, slavery, and genealogy. She is a graduate of Utrecht University, The Netherlands, and a Fulbright alumni of the University of Madison-Wisconsin, USA. She currently lives in Canada.
