  • That page has navigation links. Of course it does. No blue links in the content area, but all the skin's navigation is still available. Not really very Zen, but it's a hint or statement of intent that you'll need to use features like History and What links here to explore the Garden.
  • René Magritte is not René Magritte. One pair of words links to a Wikipedia article about him; the other pair links to a Wikidata item about him. Do the words refer to the artist, or do they refer to the targets of the links for which they are labels?

    In the world of RDF and linked data, one IRI is considered to represent a document, the other to be an identifier for the man himself. The IRIs don't even exist in the code I have written, they are constructed from the wikitext and stored in cache. I purposely refrained from tagging any semantic relationships on the text “is not”, that's planned for later works.

    The pipe image isn't the one I wanted to use, but it is free from the heavy burden of unlicensed works that are still "protected" by copywrong laws a century after creation.
