Graduated with a BSc(hons) in Chemistry from the University of Surrey and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Science from Kingston University. During my degree I specialised in analytical chemistry and environmental chemistry, and I held several posts in analytical chemistry in the past. I work for the Ministry of Defence as scientist in the field of aircraft maintenance and corrosion prevention.

Interests[edit]

I have retained an interest in pharmacology and drug design as well as the science of surfactants. My professional specialist areas are in electroplating, anodisation and aircraft husbandry.

My hobbies include fishkeeping, I have a marine aquarium and a freshwater aquarium. I have an interest in marine chemistry and marine biology. Gardening, cooking and baking are also my hobbies.
