Hi! I am a 20-year-old male college student in Maryland and I love wikipedia and loathe whoever affronts it in the slightest. Professors and teachers seem not to like it because of alleged "inaccuracies" or "lack of a reliable source.", Do they really think that vandalism and nonsense will be accepted as truth by students? I told them they were just envious because our generation is getting such a wide breadth of interdisciplinary knowledge. Instead of dealing with their tedious lectures and useless textbooks that have nothing to do with the subject matter, I was learning more advanced topics about things I actually enjoyed.
For example, I was just browsing through psychology topics, and I learned I had nearly every single symptom of Avoidant Personality Disorder! The format of this site allows for an endless flow of acquired knowledge. I come here looking for some Chemistry articles, and then I ended up on articles on military weaponry without even having planned to before! Wikipedia is the best idea in internet age, hands down Pharm Sci 14:02, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
