How I became a Softball player at Converse University

[edit]

I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia in a very athletic affiliated family. I played a variety of sports such as baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, swim team, track & field, and even football. I played baseball my entire life before I picked up on softball. Once I reached eighth grade, I began my softball career and dropped playing baseball my sophomore year of high school. I began playing softball all over the country, to be seen by college coaches. I then came across Converse College, which is now Converse University.

After many offers from several other colleges... I didn't have to think about my offer here, academically and athletically, to know that Converse was going to be my new home. I knew in an instant that this is where I wanted to be for the next four years. I worked so hard to be where I am. I have gone through numerous struggles throughout this journey. I have dreamt of this moment since a very young age, my dreams came true with my hard work and dedication.
