Phil Mailer (b 1946) also known as Phil Meyler is an Irish writer, publisher and translator who divides his time between Lisbon and Dublin. Portugal, the Impossible Revolution? [1] was published by Solidarity_(UK) in 1978 and is being republished by PM Press in 2012. He was an editor of the newspaper Combate (1974-78) and a founder of the bookshop Conta a Corrente in Lisbon. He is also editor of Livewire Publications.
