Reviewer Jeff Means of the University of Wyoming praises the work as a "well-written and thoughtful book that sets the tone and level of discussion where it needs to be to achieve final justice in Indian country", although he notes the suggested actions and reparations will be viewed by Anglo-Americans as threats.[1]
