My User Log

[edit]

I don't know what's going to happen when I type and save this, but I'm doing it anyway. I've enjoyed using Wikipedia for ages as a casual reader, but now I'm going to get my hands a little dirty. ^_^ I got inspired to become a member after reading "Wikipedia Revolution." Man, this site gets even more huge and confusing when you're not simply looking up something!!! If anyone wants to give me any advice, I am welcome to it. I am now attempting to add my very first User-box thingy. I'll start with something simple: My age. ^_^ PinkMaggie (talk) 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Favorite color! This one must be obvious, since it's in my username. PinkMaggie (talk) 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Okay, I'm just going to add as many User boxes as I please at the bottom of my page without announcing it to the world. I'll try not to go crazy. hehe. PinkMaggie (talk)

I'm now going to make my own sandbox, so that I can play around with the Wikipedia language a bit. I want to try making my own types of user-boxes, because not all of my interests are listed in the gallery, and I think they should be! PinkMaggie (talk)

I do believe I'm getting the hang of this Wikipedia business! All on my own, too. I've made a couple wiki pages for my own convenience, right at the top of the page. PinkMaggie (talk)

Wow! I've just taken an enormous step. I edited a wiki page that was not my own! In Wikipedia:Userboxes/Media/Books, I added in my own custom-made userbox for one of my favorite authors of all time, James Dashner. I follow his blog and I know he's an awesome guy. ^_^ I wonder if my edit will go noticed... 0,o If it does, please know that I don't mean any trouble! I'm just experimenting. I did a very bold thing. PinkMaggie (talk)

Made my second userbox, this time one for all the twins out there. I'm a twin myself, and I didn't see a twin userbox out there, so... you're welcome. ^_^ PinkMaggie (talk) 25 February 2010 (UTC)
