  • Different futures for different neighborhoods:The sustainability fix in Detroit
    • starts with a motto/quote
    • begins with a description of life/news of Detroit, with few sociological jargon commentaries for a page. Starting page two, it defines briefly some parts of the shrinking cities theory; on p.2, the paper describes its aim as an explanation of how the smart decline was introduced in Detroit, citing some theories.
    • half page discussion of a theoretical concept
    • following section continues wit the recent history of Detroit, now also discussing politics, faction struggles, etc. More sociological jargon/theories interposed. Section ends with a brief discussion of "big name" theories and how they relate to this research.
