Pisanki is the name I have created for my use in the world of Wiki, and it is a reference to a portion of my family's heritage.

Person
I am a librarian in education and career. I work at the Urbandale Public Library as a librarian and regularly volunteer with the Des Moines Pride Center's library. I may at times use library resources from both UPL and the DMPC as references in Wikipedia articles. However, my edits in Wikipedia do not reflect the views of UPL or the DMPC. I do not accept payment for my Wikipedia edits.

Goals/Passions
Advocating for individuals rights and freedom of access to information is a passion of mine that I pursue at my job in a public library, and in my free time volunteering at a community/special library. Giving a voice to historically underrepresented groups and the individuals who comprise those groups is a major driving force behind my involvement with Wikipedia and something I will be pursuing with the special library I volunteer my time and talents.

I always strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability. I will modify my editing behavior based on problems cited by other editors or if my editing conflicts with other Wikipedia guidelines.
