From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello! This user page is a work in progress, especially since I don't really know any user page templates yet, other than:

I hope to stick to a philosophy that my edits are placeholders for better edits from others in the future. I'm not interested in getting into arguments, and aspire to be as neutral and consensus-building as I can be (though I acknowledge WP:UNANIMITY). I was an avid reader of Wikipedia long before I made this account, which I mainly did so that I could correct typos/mistakes I found.

Some things about me:

I live in the United States. In general I'm more interested in world news than U.S. news. I acknowledge that I tend to have a pro-Western view on the world, though I aim to learn and edit impartially.

I'm particularly interested in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the Troubles. I'm also a big fan of flags, trains, cool maps (I have standards), and whatever catches my fancy.

Recently I've been working on the Dutch East Indies article— I hope to get it closer to being a Good Article.

As my battery is currently low, I'm in favor of speedily adding a Dark Mode. My opinion on how high a priority this is will change as I charge my computer.

Looking forward to learning more about Wikipedia!
