Hailing from the city of gods Varanasi , Pooja Gupta has been doing theatre from nearly 10 years now . After completing her Bachelors in Drama she went on to join the prestigious Shri Ram Centre Repertory Company as an actor . She's also had the opportunity to work with great directors like Rajinder Nath,Vivek Mishra, Sameep Singh, Vikas Dwivedi, Atul Kumar, Anant Dayal and many more. Besides being an actor ,she's also a trained classical singer . She has done one continuity serial for Channel V called " Jhalli Anjali".Did one ad film for YouTube and few short movies. For the last few years Pooja has been working in the one of the biggest Bollywood musicals Zangoora at the Kingdom of Dreams which has now completed over 1700 shows . Currently she has had the good fortune of being a part of Atul Kumar's "Company Theatre" and performing in its blockbuster production " Piya Behrupiya " both nationally and internationally.She have directed many more self written plays and also written by known writers like Sahadat hasan Manto.have given many more workshops for folk music and theatre. She have done few movies and serials as an creative director.
