The US Center for SafeSport (or simply SafeSport) is a non-profit, independent organization with the mission to end abuse, in all forms, in sport within the United States.[1] SafeSport was created by legislation passed in late January 2018 by the US Senate and House of Representatives, and signed into law in February 2018.[2]

Leadership
[edit]SafeSport leadership consists of a President, CEO, and Board of Directors.
As of July 2018[update], Shellie Pfohl serves as both President and CEO. The organization's nine directors are Regis Becker, Angelo Giardino, Pat Harned, Jessica Herrera-Flanigan, Reuben Jones, Frank Marshall, Julie Novak, Megan Ryther, and Connie Smotek.[1]
