The group consists of producer/DJ Absolute and sibling rappers Dirt Dee (Dan Eisenhauer)and Attention Def (Wes Eisenhauer). Soulcrate has been making creative thought provoking feel-good music independently since they formed in 2002. After their first self released album "Obviously Bothered" the crew has also produced and sold solo records for both A-Def & Dirt Dee, as well as participating in split releases with Des Moines, Iowa, rapper "Aeon Grey," and Sioux Falls Indie rock collective "We All Have Hooks For Hands." In 2008, Kansas City based rapper/producer Mac Lethal signed the group for a deal on his label Black Clover Records and the group released "Cardboard Cut Outs No. 1" on Black Clover later that year. Their second album under Black Clover Records, The Heartland Panic, released in 2010, and received rants and raves from both fans and critics alike.
