VandalProof

Thanks for getting back to me RE: my application for VandalProof.

I know I haven't achieved the lofty 250 entries you desire: according to my edit count, I'm on 221. I'd like to motivate myself if I may:

  • I am active on the South African parts of WP, constantly updating and correcting.
  • I revert vandalism constantly, and am somewhat of a grammar nazi.
  • For a long time I've been looking for a tool that would make my task easier.

If you've got the time, I implore that you look upon my edit history: you won't find one instance of bad, non-neutral, hateful, vandalistic or similar editing.

I hope you look upon this favourably!

Hi! Makes sense to protect against a senseless edit war, but I think you protected to the less appropriate version. Most people (see talk page) prefer the one with the image. One editor and one anon (possibly sockpuppet but I don't know) seem to be making a WP:POINT that the image should not be there, using arguments most of the others find to be bollocks. Suggest protecting to the one with the image instead. Martinp 17:22, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Monobook

It would be nice, but I've decided I'm going to go without one. I'm standing for anons, so unfortunately, I have to have all their problems as well. 69.145.123.171 Hello! Wednesday, July 5, 2006, 19:24 (UTC)

E-mail

Sure thing. I removed it in the first place because of spam, but I guess that was a bad move. Thanks for notifying me. -→Buchanan-Hermit/?! 02:34, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Moving my userpage

Yes, please delete the new one so I can move the older one to it; or move it completely if you are able to do so. Thank you, Teh tennisman 15:42, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you X a high number of your choosing! I still don't know why I had to change my username, but I guess it's sorted out now. Teh tennisman 15:48, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for helping me so much

I am deeply sorry for the sins I have commited here. I hope my reëntry here will be sincerely welcomed. εγκυκλοπαίδεια* 19:10, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

I have seen your comment on the nomination and taken note. I've replied there and I believe I have allayed any concerns about the matter. -Randall Brackett 03:06, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Downloading vandalproof

I don't know how to download VandalProof correctly. Can you help me?

--Evan Robidoux 04:01, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

OK, I unzipped it. Now what? --Evan Robidoux 01:28, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
I try to run VandalProof, but I keep getting an error message saying:
Run-time error '76'
Path not found
I have no idea what is going wrong. I did everything you said I should do and I'm logged in like I should be, but I am still getting the error message. Do you know why this is happenning and how to stop it? --Evan Robidoux 05:22, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
I get it right after I log in. --Evan Robidoux 23:20, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Blocked User:24.17.189.149

Just so I'm aware, is there a reason you undid the block to go straight to 31 hours on a user with 6 total edits? RadioKirk (u|t|c) 18:42, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

LOL you answered my question as I was asking it. Carry on... :) RadioKirk (u|t|c) 18:42, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Need advice

Hello, Im not an expert in wiki policies, please look here: that guy insulted me; Im not even sure of what he is doing with regard to other edits. Please let me know your opinion. Bye. --Doktor Who 01:03, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your answer and advice; as of today, it seems that the state of things is ok.--Doktor Who 22:10, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
