Admin Coaching

Hi Prodego, Sorry I have not been in touch for a while (I had a family wedding and a lot of real-life work going on). I will no longer be needing to take part on Admin Coaching. My RfA is actually ongoing after being nominated by User:FayssalF. Best wishes, Asteriontalk 01:26, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the kind words. Happy new year! Asteriontalk 17:11, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up. I will have a look later on (got to go offline now). Asteriontalk 17:22, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Problem with VP

Hello. I have a problem with VP User List. Although I was recently approved to use it, the program says "You are not on the user list". Can you add me to the real user list, please? Thanks and have a happy new year.--KaragouniS 18:48, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

ok thanks :) --KaragouniS 18:56, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanx for editing my monobook

Thanx for the edit. I can't figure out why it appeared in that category. I just added a few scripts to my monobook. I guess some typing mistake on my behalf did it. Thanx again. voldemortuet 17:52, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks as well for the <nowiki> tags, much appreciated! here 00:09, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Layout for my User Page, HTML help for it!

I'm pretty good at HTML, but only to change things to fit my taste, but when it comes to making HTML from scratch, I am not so great, especially with a whole new world of coding on wikipedia, so is there some sort of website or article on wikipedia I can get to for HTML help to redo my user page with some sort of DIV Overlay? I have one now, but it's not too fancy. Thanks, User:coocooforcocopuffs Coocooforcocopuffs 04:11, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Hmm...I guess maybe if you didn't mind the base code for your user page, I would have a link to your user page on it, and tell everyone that you designed it, you don't have too since you made it and all, but it is a nice look and I have an idea on how I could edit it to fit my page. If not, I'll figure something out. Coocooforcocopuffs 04:24, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks a lot! I'll see how I do editing itCoocooforcocopuffs 04:28, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Ok. Thanks. swadhyayee 17:22, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Lynched?

On the HD you said:

I assume you mean "lynched" of course, since technology has not yet advanced to the point where we can congregate as an angry mob digitally yet! Prodego talk 03:18, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Re: Loads o Rangeblocks

Hey, there. I'm not sure that I've made that many -- three in recent days, that I can recall? All three have involved either Exicornt or Cplot, names which I hope will be familiar to you. In one case, I was actually reconfiguring a block set by Essjay, following checkuser results, because I felt it was causing too much collateral damage. One has already expired, one expires tomorrow, and the third will expire I think the day after tomorrow. In all cases, I regularly patrol CAT:RFU several times a day, and I've helped more than a few people get set up with accounts so that they can edit over such rangeblocks. If you'd like to reduce the duration or allow account creation, you're free to do so, but should you opt to take that course, I ask only that you do your part in dealing with the vandalism and disruption which would almost surely result (the users targeted by these blocks are very persistent). Luna Santin 05:55, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Uh, hey.

Hi! First off, thanks for paying attention to whatever I was doing wrong. But I just have a quick question: what the heck did you do? I don't understand how the <nowiki> tags put me in the unsorted AfD debates category, and now, my scripts aren't working. When I revert your changes and clear my cache, all my scripts automagically come back to life... what's the deal? Thanks! Iridescence talkcontrib 09:08, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey! Thanks for fixing it! Iridescence talkcontrib 01:03, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

AWB

Thanks for adding me back to the AWB list. However, the program doesn't recognize me as being enabled. Please complete the activation of my account for use of AWB. Sincerely, The Transhumanist (AWB) 09:46, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Are you sure you are logged in on the bot? You are on the list correctly, so it should work fine... Prodego talk 16:44, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
When I try to use it, I get the message "The Transhumanist (AWB) is not enabled to use this" and then it automatically opens up the AWB check page in another window.  The Transhumanist   16:56, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
That is wierd, I guess you will have to ask one of the AWB devs (probably at Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser). Prodego talk 16:59, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I think I found the problem. I looked at the list carefully, and selected the text on some names individually, and then selected mine. My entry has a trailing space, while the others do not. You wouldn't mind taking care of that would you?  The Transhumanist   13:41, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
That's odd, I did look for that (maybe I looked under your username instead of the bot account). But anyway it is fixed now. You should be able to use it. Prodego talk 20:07, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
It works now. Fantastic! By the way, I discovered an old account of mine on the list that I had forgotten was on there, and used that as an auxillary. It is User:Nexus Seven. Please remove it from the list. And thank you for all your help.  The Transhumanist   20:30, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

monobook

Sorry, I saw it had apparently been blanked with the comment "don't need this anymore". Hope it is OK now. NawlinWiki 17:07, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

74.111.224.67 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) looked like a continuation of previous vandalism which was warned in the morning - therefore even if it was a new user, he would have seen that message. Unblock if you think otherwise. Agathoclea 18:43, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

my images

all 5 of the images on my page had to be deleted?!?

Question

I have a question about userpages and i was wondering if you could help me out. What are the things on the top of many peoples userpages at the top right next to their username? What are they called? What are they for? How do you add them? Why do you add them? Thanks. All systems go 01:55, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah All systems go 01:58, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
