Any news about the VP bug which keeps me away from it? Happy Editing by Snowolf(talk) on 16:00, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Ok, BTW, have you checked TWINKLE? It's a quite new very useful tool ;-) Happy Editing by Snowolf(talk) on 18:55, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

help?

Can you help me create a coloured box, then put my normal text underneath it? Slaterj 18:48, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

That was quick - I'm asking for it in general practice e.g. a generic thing that'll stretch to fit text. I just want to know how to get regular text - like this underneath it! thx - Slaterj 18:53, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
let's say 5087D3 I would like it to go across fully, stretching down if text fills it! Slaterj 18:58, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, so I just need to know where the text goes in the script; if you have the box with writing in, whenever i do it i can't put anything after it. I just need to know how to create it, put the text in (and where) and then type after it . Thanks Slaterj 19:13, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Hit the nail on the head - thanks SHOULD BE FINE NOWSlaterj 19:22, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, Prodego

I'm going to ask you to semi-protect the Peter Roskam and Free Republic articles. Evidently this anonymous IP vandal is following me around. With semi-protection he will be forced to register an account if he wants to continue. Then he can be addressed more effectively. Thanks again. Dino 23:14, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi

I have reported two open proxies on the project page, and seems that no one want to verify. I am actually not suspecting but checked, and then connected on them. Why is it taking so much time, I mean, I have provided the port to check, it is not like the checker has to pass a long scan to then trying to connect on ports which could be used to access the net. Your 'final warning' to BenBurch is being ignored

Exactly as I expected. Please see WP:ANI. Dino 13:00, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

RfA

I know you mean well, but I ask that you withdraw your RfA until we see the outcome of the 'ban' on ANI. My particpation in any RfA will be highly limited. I need a respite from all this BS - not to spend hours every day re-living it. - FAAFA 23:46, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

This has gone beyond WP:ANI. This situation is harmful, it has stopped being a contained article dispute. It is now turned into an all out brawl, on many pages. It would be very difficult for me to withdraw arbitration now that I have informed everyone, and an outside user has commented. In fact, I am not sure I can do it at all. Also, under the current situation, I think this arbitration is necessary. You only need to make one comment (not even that if you chose not to) and the rest is up to arbcom. Also, what ban are you talking about? Only arbcom can ban, and none of you are blocked? Prodego talk 23:52, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
This ban. Proposed_community_ban Your RfA was well-meaning, but I believe out-of-order when other remedies had already been proposed, and were in active discussion. - FAAFA 23:59, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

RE:Helpdesk

I know but I saw it somewhere on a beginners page. I just got done deleting "You can add templates and Images to your name" junk. Well If you find it please revert or let me know.

My veiw

  • I found out that there is more to wikipedia that many people realize. Its like a book. And the story of the world is written in it. And when people vandalize it. Its like tearing out a page. To replace the torn out page and to help everyone learn about the world, is the reason why we are here. The reason why I think people vandalize is because the feel like the arent needed or even wanted here. So they vandalize to draw attention to themselves. We really need to give ips a chance, greet them, help them, guide them. I found and Ip editing today He/She was doing a great job, lots of constructive edits. Nobody was noticeing. I did. Vandalproof application denial

I would like to request that you reconsider your denial of this? The link you used [1] shows 2025 mainspace edits, your reason for denial was less than 250. Thanks! Seraphimblade Talk to me Please review me! 22:42, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you for granting me permission to use VandalProof. Also, as a favour to me, can you please look through my account (user page, user talk, contributions, etc.) and see whether you think I am ready to be an administrator and, if not, why I am not ready? If you do not have time or you just don't want to just tell me. Thanks, Jhfireboy I'm listening 23:15, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the help. I've been looking Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship and that makes me look ready. I thought that someone that has experienced the process would give me an insight into being ready. Jhfireboy I'm listening 23:37, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Another thing, you said that I need to have more to fdo with the internal workings of Wikipedia. Does being a member of Metawiki help because I've had a look before but never become a member? Jhfireboy I'm listening 00:40, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
