Early life and education

Prof. (Dr.)  Karunesh  Pratap  Yadav (born 20 Sept 1972), is an Indian Computer Science/Engineering  Professor who is currently working as Vice Chancellor, MATS University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He has honorary doctorates from 8 universities from around the world and has authored around 200 research publications and 30 books.

A precocious child, completed High School in 1987,Intermediate from in 1989, B.Tech in 1993 and M.Tech from in 1996. He earned a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering under the supervision of Supervisors :Prof. Raghuraj Singh and Prof. Yashpal Singh in 2012. Post Doctorate :  Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering under the supervision of Prof. M. C. Govil and Prof. Dalel Singh for wireless communication in 2017.D.Litt(H) from Central University of America Bolivia in Management in 2021.

He joined as Lecturer (Selected through UP Public Service Commission) so worked around 12 years in UP govt and central govt in different positions. Assistant Professor in Dronacharya College of Engg. Gr. Noida, UP from 01 Aug. 2008 to 20 Aug 2009. Professor & HOD CSE/IT in Vivekanand Instt. Of Tech. & Science, Gzb., UP from 21Aug 2009 to 31 Jan. 2010. Director Acme College of Engineering, Ghaziabad, UP from 01 Feb. 2010 to 20 Sept. 2011. Director in Saraswati Institute of Engineering & Technology from 21 Sept. 2011 to 15 Jan 2013. Director in Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology, Gr. Noida, UP from 16 Jan 2013  to 05 May 2015. Director in KCC Institute of Technology & Management, Gr. Noida, UP from 06 May 2015  to 08 Aug. 2016. Director (Academic & Research) in IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida, UP from 09 Aug. 2016 to 14 Nov. 2017. Pro Vice Chancellor in MATS University , Raipur, CG from 15 Nov. 2017 to 24 April 2018.
