This page honestly surprised me. The man who created Super Mario Bros. is Japanese, and, at least having a relatively good understanding of video games in Japanese culture, I assumed the article would be extensive. It's not, though. The two versions are basically equal in length. One of the first things I notice is that the Japanese version has no images — only text — and is very boring, to be honest. The English version has four pictures: one of the box art, two screenshots from the game, and one Game Boy Color cartridge. The Japanese version really details technicalities. For instance, sales, variations, and system components are discussed in depth.
