I chose to compare "lasagne" on the English Wikipedia and the Italian Wikipedia. I chose Italian because I know that lasagna originated in Italy. The English page is called "lasagne" but the Italian page is called "lasagna al forno." The English page is for the noodles themselves and the Italian page is for the dish. In the info box of the Italian page, there is a place for regions, which I thought was interesting. It also says that lasagna should be served as a first course, which I did not know. The origins sections of the two articles differ greatly. The section of the English article is mostly about where the word "lasagne" came from and the Italian article focuses on where the dish was first prepared. The English page ends here, but the Italian page goes on to talk about condiments, regional variants, combinations with wine and it even has a section for pictures of lasagna. I wasn't surprised that the Italian page had more information because Italians are passionate about pasta.
