Maksuda Akhter Prioty

Born in Bangladesh, but living in Ireland for the last 14 years, at only 26 years old, with a background in Business Management, and recently a qualified pilot, Maksuda gained the title of Ms Ireland 2014, Miss Hot Chocolate 2014, Miss Universal Royalty 2013, Ms Ireland Earth 2015, Ms Photogenic 2014 and Supermodel of the Year 2014. Along many international publications, she was the first Asian - Irish model to be the cover of Ondine Magazine in May 2015.

EARLY LIFE

Maksuda was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1989. Her dad passed away when she was only 8 years old. She could not remember much about her dad, because she was very young' . She lost her mother when she was 19 years, which made her life more difficult being away from her parents.

ON THE RUNWAY

Maksuda’s first ever runway was at the age of 14 in Bangladesh . ‘’She was super woman with a big heart to drive at all level of her career achievements’’. However, her first attempts to find a modelling agency in Ireland were met with rejection as she is only 5ft 7’’, and they were all looking for over 5ft 8 1/2 . She challenged her rejection and stay focus and today, she has rose to be among the professionals models in the fashion industry, being a finalist in UK Top Model 2014, doing runway for Cradle Fashion Show, Fusion Fashion Show, Dublin Institute of Design, Dublin Fashion Festival, and many others. 

CHARITY WORK

‘'My passion for charity work comes from my dad, who used to help people in need back home in Comilla'’ . Maksuda is actively involved in charity work in Ireland and Bangladesh, working with unprivileged children , who are deprived from social benefits, who can't afford an education, food or shelter. In Ireland she works with Diabetes Ireland , Women's Aid, Temple Street Hospital and more. She has used her gifted talent to raise funds for many charities .

PERSONAL LIFE

Maksuda is a single mother of 2 beautiful children aged 4 and 5. She is a positive woman with big heart and spends her time taking care of her family, studies and charity works.

MAKSUDA TODAY

Maksuda is set to represent Ireland in the Ms. Earth 2015 international pageant in Jamaica . It begins on 14th October 2015 .
