This user is a freshman at Georgia Southern University. Georgia Southern is a medium sized, aesthetically appealing campus located in Statesboro, Georgia. At the moment she is undeclared but she is strongly considering majoring in public relations. She is skilled at tennis and has played for five years. She recieved the Hope scholarship after graduating high school with a grade point average exceeding 3.0. The hope scholarship pays for a portion of tuition and text books for any college in the state of Georgia. She enjoys reading, psychology, art, and journalism.

Facebook, Yes. Texting, Yes. Wikipedia, ?[edit]

Like most of our population, this user has and efficiantly opperates a Facebook account. She is also a pretty speedy texter. She owns a Dell and Ipod touch. She can opperate most technology with relative ease. However, Wikipedia is an entirely new ball game. She has only recently started exploring and using wikipedia and would consider her "wiki knowledge" to be that of a middle schooler. But, being a quick learner and having strong will power, she knows she will soon be able to operate Wikipedia much more efficently.

What I like about Wikipedia[edit]

This user was repeatedly told throughout high school that wikipedia was the devil and you don't trust the devil. She was told that wikipedia was not a source. It was merely where people compile thoughts and discuss them. They were absolutely not legitimate. Therefore she never used wikipedia. After exploring wikipedia for herself and forming her own opinion, she concluded that wikipedia was actually a very legitimate site. Sources must be included and the general population of wikipedia users are formally educated.

Monolingual and working on it[edit]

This user is a native of the United States and speaks American English. She has taken Spanish one and Spanish two in high school and probably hold her own in a very simple conversation. She would like to be fluent in Spanish and is currently looking into taking college spanish or purchasing Rosetta Stone. Knowing Spanish would icrease her job oportunity, especially in the world of Public Relations.

This user is a complete sucker for anything cute and fuzzy. If she could she would adopt every stray animal she could find she would. She also loves art. She is skilled in painting, drawing, and ceramics. Her favorite type of music is punk. Her favorite bands are Eve 6, The weepies, and Iron and Wine. Her favorite song at the moment is Short Skirt, Long Jacket, by Cake. J.K. Rowling is her favorite author. Her favorite books include, the Harry Potter Series, The Great Gatsby, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Twilgiht. Her favorite place in the world is Boone, North Carolina. She would love to travel outside of the United States. The first place she would go would be London, England. Her favorite shows are One Tree Hill, Criminal Minds, and sometimes Jersey Shore. Her favorite actors are Johnny Knoxville, Johnny Depp, and Tom Felton. Her favorite actresses are Helena Boham Carter, Katherine Heigl, and Rachel Mcadams.
