Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Tribute Festival The Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Tribute Festival is an annual event, held in Parsons' hometown of Waycross, Georgia, celebrating the late musician's legacy as a pioneer of melding the musical genres of country, rock and roll, rhythm & blues, and gospel. Headliners at the event, since its inception in 1998, include Leon Russell, Charlie Louvin, Jim Lauderdale, Phil Kaufman, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Ian Dunlop, Bernie Leadon, Walter Egan, Jim White, Kevn Kinney, Lona Heins, Jimmy Hall & The Capricorn Rhythm Section, Randall Bramblett, and Tommy Talton.
