The 2023–24 EFL Cup will be the 64th season of the EFL Cup (known as the Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons). The competition is open to all clubs participating in the Premier League and the English Football League.

The winner of the competition will qualify for the play-off round of the 2024–25 UEFA Europa Conference League.[2]

Manchester United are the defending champions, having beaten Newcastle United to secure a 6th title in the previous season's final.[3]

The final will be played at Wembley Stadium on 25 February 2024.[4]
