Our Husband are a pop group from Adelaide, South Australia. Their musical style is described as "bliss-pop". They released the independent singles Dear and Villages

Origins The band was formed when Nathaniel Morse (guitar, vocals) moved from Melbourne, Victoria to Adelaide, South Australia to join the indie rock group Fire! Santa, Rosa, Fire! Nathaniel met Freya when they became housemates. Freya was an already established musician within the Adelaide music scene, having been a founding member of the now defunct folk outfit Bing Goes To Monaco. The two began writing songs in the winter of 2009. Our Husband released their first single Dear in September 2009, earning them accolades within the blogging community. Their second single, Villages, was released in June 2010. It has become a favorite of many trend making musical blogs, including Who The Bloody Hell Are They, Dalston Oxfam Shop and Pasta Primavera. Our Husband have been praised for championing a D.I.Y. aesthetic, shunning major studios in favor of recording in the bedrooms of both Nathaniel and Freya.
