A Pindaric Ode on the Late Unpleasantness[edit]

An Hudibrastic Ode
Red wolves in many forms attend
In ranks you stand, in packs you wend,
And all admire this Sir One Score
The fear'd Red Wolf, O, twenty-four.
You take choice lambs, the farmer's woe,
But he came here and got their goats!
By seeming and speaking a bit wheely
He set the dull wits to squealing.
"No Arb," they cried, "let's get a noose!
And trap and skin this lupi rus!"
