Lead evaluation

The lead is concise and summarizes Williams's work in both civil rights and the government. I'm not sure about the use of the phrase "public service" here because I don't think it automatically implies government service.

Content evaluation

The content is definitely relevant and provides good background about how her education led to her activism, especially through the story about Mount Holyoke. I would be interested to know if there was a reason for her to switch to social work after majoring in chemistry and economics.

  • Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?

The content seems neutral and unbiased. The article does a particularly good job of illustrating the racist undertones of Mount Holyoke's discouragements without outright villianizing the school.

There are sources listed but few actual links. The article needs in-text citations, but the article is also clearly still being developed.

  • Is the content added well-organized - i.e. broken down into sections that reflect the major points of the topic?

The sections listed are chronological and appropriate. There doesn't seem to be a section for the FDR years, but that may be included within another section. I think there should be a comma for clarity after the word "sociologist" in the lead, but that is up to Oxford comma preference.

The article definitely meets the notability requirements and links to plenty of other articles. I think an infobox would be appropriate given that this is a biographical article.
