In 2023 a letter received in Norwood's Hamlet Road became of interest as the house's resident discovered it had been posted in 1916 and passed on the information, the letter to the Norwood Society which gathered a lot of news interest.[1]

Initiatives

have included a National Lottery funded blue plaque window project on shop fronts on the Crystal Palace triangle in 2017(?)[2]

The society have held numerous exhibitions, including a commemoration of Emile Zola at Norwood's Phoenix Centre in 2002.[3]
