User:Riana/admin/recall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have decided to be open for recall. If you ever feel that my admin actions are questionable or controversial, I invite you to have an open discussion about it on my talkpage. If you feel that my admin actions are putting Wikipedia at risk, you may ask me to stand for reconfirmation of my adminship.

Any user may commence a recall on my adminship, but only in the context of my admin actions (i.e. examination of my non-admin actions should be initiated via the normal avenues, unless you feel that my judgement is so severely bad that it would impact upon my administrative tasks. Administrative actions carried out as an OTRS respondent do not apply). If 4 more users in good standing [1] repeat the request within 3 months of the initial request, I will (a) seek community opinion of my admin actions in my userspace, in the form of an RfC. This discussion will be limited to users with at least three months' experience, and at least 500 mainspace edits in the last six months; or (b) voluntarily resign my access, if I believe the charges carry sufficient weight. Following this, I will either seek adminship myself after a period of at least 6 months has elapsed, stand down permanently, or accept a nomination from a fellow user[2], after a period of at least 3 months has elapsed.

If any three users from User:Riana/Helpful ask for or support my recall, I will stand down without an RfC.

Hope that all makes sense, more or less. :) ~ Riana 13:23, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

  1. ^ At least 500 mainspace edits in the past 3 months and 1 year of tenure, though this may vary; also, preferably a user I have interacted with on multiple occasions. User must not have been the subject of an arbitration committee sanction or admonishment, nor have any previous blocks which have 'lasted'. Users I have previously been in dispute with are welcome to participate.
  2. ^ Again, a user in good standing, as detailed above.
