Ricardo Gritto (born August 15, 1976) is an Portuguese artist who works in sculpture, photography, drawing, architecture and film. His early works are sculptural installations combined with performance and video. Ricardo Gritto was born August 15, 1976, as the 0ldest of two children in Oporto, Portugal, where he lived until he was 17. He lived in Coimbra, from 1993 to 1995, where he was admitted in architect university. His parents divorced and his mother, an abstract painter, originally from Tomar central Portugal, moved to Porto city, where he born in 1976. It was the fact that his parents our still studying arts in Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto that he was first introduced to the art scene.

R.Gritto was scout boy since he was 7 years old in 1985 he play European football in Boavista Football Club. In 1993, he graduated from Escola de Arts e ofícios Soares dos Reis ( Porto ). His earliest works, created at Coimbra, In the 2001, R.Gritto, moved back to Porto after doing changing from Coimbra to Caldas da Rainha, where he starts to study Industrial Design and finally in 1998 he starts to study sculpture at the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria. Back to Porto, where he worked as a urban activist creating associations like 555 at Rua do Almada or Ascensor in Rua Miguel Bombarda also 110 w for Porto Capital of Culture 2001, This career helped him finance his early work as an artist. In 2002, R.Gritto goes back to university in Caldas da Rainha to finish is license as an Profissional Artist after passing by the cinema university in Porto. Back to Caldas da Rainha he lived in a farm in Óbidos where he start building a clay factory. In September 2013, R.Gritto left Europe and went to California where he present his new age ideias to Dr David Kelly from Standford University Campus, after he fly to Hawaii Maui traing to develop his perspective in integrated systems

R.Gritto maintains a studio in Porto City, Portugal
