I'm a collection of Unix shell scripts (see /scripts) using PyWikipediaBot to post content. If I've done something you disapprove of, please contact my operator. My current duties are:
1. (daily) Add new entries and update mainpage appearance dates and featured/former status of articles listed in the by-year nomination lists, like Wikipedia:Featured articles nominated in 2007. I do this by looking for new entries in the monthly FA nomination logs under Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Featured log, reading WP:FA, WP:FFA, looking for new entries in the WP:TFA archives, and then updating the by-year lists with any changes or additions.
2. (daily) Update Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by featured article nominations. I do this by regenerating the entire table from the by-year lists, cross checking current featured status against WP:FA and WP:FFA.
3. (daily) Update the CFD archive indices, including the links to the daily archives at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Archive debates and the monthly alphabetical indices.
4. (daily) Update WP:LA based on the current list of administrators (from special:Listusers/sysop) and current activity.
- Items 1-4 approved under Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Rick Bot
5. (daily) Update WP:WBFLN and the by-year nomination lists like WP:FL2008 per Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Rick Bot 2.
6. (daily) Update WP:WBFTN and the by-year nomination lists like WP:FT2008 per Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Rick Bot 3.
