Robert Graham Davies born 6 November 1973 in Bulli, Australia) is a former Australian footballer who played for Wollongong Wolves in the former National Soccer League was capped internationally for Australia U18s.

Club career[edit][edit]

Robert Davies is of Spanish and Australian heritage. As a junior, Robert played with the National Soccer League (NSL) team Wollongong Wolves in their junior team between 1988 and 1991.

Robert was selected in the Australian Schoolboys Under 17 side in 1991/92[1], and toured the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland in 1991/92, playing alongside future Socceroo Ante Milicic and current Matildas coach Alen Stajcic.

Robert Davies started his career with famed illawarra Premier League side Cringila Lions, before being an integral part of the Port Kembla football club squad that achieved three successive Illawarra Premier League grand final titles between 2002 and 2004[2]. Robert was tragically forced to retire after suffering a career ending knee injury in 2004.

he has joined Illawarra Premier League club Dandaloo FC for 2008. In 2015, he was selected in Sydney FC's team of the decade.
