Computer Systems Institute (CSI) is a Proprietary post-secondary institution in the United States. Founded in 1989 by Ella Zibitsker, its current Chairman of the Board. CSI offers a variety of career programs and certificates in Information Technology, Healthcare and Business Administration career-oriented disciplines. CSI is Accredited by the North Central Association (NCA CASI) and Licensed by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) [3].

Computer Systems Institute (CSI) is a Proprietary post-secondary institution in the United States. Founded in 1989 by Ella Zibitsker, its current Chairman of the Board. Julia Lowder is the current CEO. CSI offers a variety of career programs and certificates in Information Technology, Healthcare and Business Administration career-oriented disciplines. [3] As computers starting playing a greater role in careers in both the allied health and business fields, CSI expanded its program offerings to include short certificate and diploma programs targeted to adult professionals employed in or seeking employment in the medical and business industries. Campus[edit]

Presently, the university maintains Illinois campuses in Skokie (main campus), Chicago, Elgin, Gurnee, and Lombard and an out-of-state campus in Charlestown.

Accreditation[edit]

Computer Systems Institute has been accredited by the North Central Association (NCA CASI) since 1998. [1] The university has also been licensed by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and is approved by the Department of Education to provide Title IV funding to eligible students. [3]

  • CSI is authorized (under Federal Law) to enroll non immigrant F-1 and M-1 students. [3]

Programs emphasize hands-on learning, industry current technologies, and preparation for professional certifications. CSI leverages a Blended Learning Methodology for its programs.
