Roger Vallance

Dr Roger Vallance is an educational researcher who has interests in qualitative research methods. He has for many years taught groups of research students and researchers how to maximise their use of QSR qualitative data analysis products. These products include N4, N5 and N6 and NVivo. Dr Vallance is the Director of Research and the Director of Postgraduate Studies at Divine Word University in Madang Jan 2006-Dec 2008 . Dr Vallance spent six months a visiting professor at University of Notre Dame at Dadiangas, in General Santos city, Mindanao in the Philippines. From July 2009, he is employed at Australian Catholic University, Strathfield New South Wales campus, in the School of Education. Dr Vallance has interests in leadership in a values-driven context, the support of beginning researchers and motivation particularly in relation to academic pursuits.
