Queen City Mischief and Magic (formerly called the "Potter Party") is an annual Harry Potter festival held in Staunton, Virginia. 12 blocks of Staunton's downtown is blocked, allowing 67 local businesses to take part in the festival with activities and souvenirs.
History[edit]
The first festival was held in 2016 as a block party by Staunton local Sarah Lynch named the Potter Party. It was renamed as Queen City Magic and Mischief for its second year that drew in an overwhelming attendance. Its third year showed an almost ten-fold rise in attendance, with people from Canada to San Francisco.
Transport[edit]
Parking is provided in multiple parts of the city with trolleys to take people downtown where the event occurs.
