The following is a list of World Blackball Champions, sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA).

The WPA World Blackball Championship is an annual professional tournament in the pocket billiards

Also included are champions in the similar but non-WPA blackball/eight-ball pool tournaments (not to be confused with the internationally standardised game of eight-ball).

The WPA official website, WPA-Pool.com, has yet to publish the Women's Division statistics, as of September 2008, for unknown reasons.

Related and similar titles[edit]

Besides the WPA, other sport governing bodies have held world championships in eight-ball pool (not to be confused with the WPA Eight-ball World Champions, who also differ from the WPA Blackball World Champions, above).

The following is a list of PPPO World Eight-ball Champions, sanctioned by the EUKPF (European and UK Pool Federation) and PPPO (Professional Pool Players Organization). The last year this championship was held was 2005, as the EUKPF was then renamed to EBA (European Blackball Association) and amalgamated under the umbrella of the WPA (World Pool Association).
