User:SYED ZAMIR PASHA

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Syed Zamir Pasha was Born in a Prominent Muslim family in the historic place of Magadi, Ramnagar District, Karnataka. Magadi was highly backward economically and educationally. My father and forefathers were from pre-independence days associated with the Congress Party and had imbibed its progressive mind-set. My mother was a councilor of Magadi Town Municipality.

During my student days I had very painfully observed the exploitation of the hapless multitudes by the affluent few and had developed a desire to do my best to fight against the discrimination. I chose Government Service as the platform through which I can do my little in delivering justice to and improving the conditions of the poor. Accordingly I entered into Administrative Service.

Throughout my career, I worked with total dedication in every department, and left an indelible mark through my efficiency, receptiveness and speedy service delivery. I have worked hard to implement the various revolutionary schemes introduced by late Smt. Indira Gandhiji for strengthening the weaker sections.

Post retirement, I engaged myself in social service. Guiding, associating and participating in the activities of several associations engaged in empowerment of women, poor and weaker sections. To continue with my social service and continuing my family tradition, I decided to join the Congress Party and have discharged with utmost efficiency the several responsibilities assigned to me by the party from time to time.

I am an aspirant of Party ticket to contest the Assembly elections 2018 from Kolar constituency. If I am chosen, I shall discharge my duties and responsibilities with utmost sincerity, honesty, loyalty, 1 Imbibing the Congress Ethos to prove the rightness of the selection by the party.
