Sung (Seong) Han-Bin (성한빈; or simply Hanbin) is a Korean Singer, Dancer & Choreographer. He initially appeared in Wake One’s Boomerang performance at SBS Gayo Daejeon in 2018 and BTS Dionysus performance at MMA in 2019. He started his career as contestant on Boys Planet under STUDIO GL1DE on December 20, 2022.[1]. He became a member of zerobaseone after getting 2nd rank in show's finale.[2]
Early Life & Family[edit]
Sung (Seong) Han-Bin was born on June 13, 2001. His birth place is Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. He is fluent in Korean and English languages. His family members includes his parents, younger sister sung han areum who was born in 2005. He used to work at a cafe owned by his mother at Pyeongtaek[3] where he earned his barista license while training at Cube Entertainment. He has competed many Waacking dance events since middle school and also knows how to do tutting. He believes he looks like a cat.[4]
Education[edit]
He got his early education from Cheonan Bongseo Elementary School and Gye Kwang Middle School. Furthermore, he studied K-pop performance at Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA KPOP)[5]. He has received training from Cube Entertainment and is close friends with another contestant Seok Matthew.[6]
Professional Career[edit]
Sung (Seong) Han-Bin gained immediate attention while he was performing at 7-minutes long trailer show.[7]. He is a close friend with Seok Matthew, another member of ZeroBaseOne, with whom he trained to get participation in the survival contest that gave rise to their team. He came at 2nd rank and made his way to ZeroBaseOne (ZB1).[4] where he became leader of ZeroBaseOne on May 11.[8]
Sound Track[edit]
His first solo project, “Luv Luv Luv”, a duet with JO YURI on the soundtrack of 소용없어 거짓말 (My Lovely Liar), was released in August 2023 one month after his official debut.[9]
