Etunda Irrigation project is located near Ruacana, about 150 km west of Oshakati in the Omusati region of Namibia. It was initiated in 1992 by the government of Namibia. Etunda irrigation farm is about 600hactres and it is divided into a half plot for both commercial and small scale farm. Usually, maize is the main crop on commercial plot. It has about 126 total number of workers of which 45 are males and 81 are females.[1] . Etunda is believed that, it will contribute to the reduction of high level of unemployment in Namibia. Its provided with loans by the Agricultural Bank of Namibia which is from the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry.[2]--idhogela (talk) 10:59, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
