Australian Table Tennis Sensation, Sam Richards has shocked the table tennis world with his recent burst of in international sucess, claiming several gold medals for his country. His career started in 2003 in the very quiet, not very well know at all, basically unheard of the Canadian Winter Olympics. He had a great run up to the grand Final, in which he lost to raining Table Tennis Qui Lin of Someplace Asia. But in the 2004 Athens Olypmics he stunned the world beating Qui Lin in the semifinal with ease. He went on to beat Shou Ting in the Grand Final, claiming his first international gold medal. He also claimed a bronze medal in the doubles tornament with his team mate Jackson 'Cheese Head' Booth. Hi career just seemed to go upward from this moment on. In the 2005 Woolworths International Ping Pong Masters Tornament he claimed the gold medal against many other minor Olympic competeters.
Former Table Tennis Legend Rocky Balboa said that "Sam is a master of his work. And at just 14 years of age he still has decades ahead of him. He will be the next evulation in Table Tennis and change the world forever.
