Help me. I tried to edit something on Ivan Van Sertima's page regarding a criticism from Glyn Daniel printed in the New York Times. In response, the New York Times printed a letter from Dr. Clarence Weiant, an archeologist with the National Geographic Society and the Smithsonian Institute. I reproduced Dr. Weiant's letter alongside the statement from Glyn Daniel so that assessment of Dr. Van Sertima's work wouldn't be one-sided. The letter from Dr. Weiant was deleted and the reason given was that it didn't conform with Wikipedia's standard of neutrality. How can Wikipedia allow a comment like "rubbish" from someone who's not an authority in the field in which Dr. Van Sertima writes, but the letter from someone who is an authority is deleted? How is this being neutral?
