MediterraNaut is a board game originally published by Adrinaut, Pula, Croatia. The author of the game is Sanja Vale Čupić and this is the second concept she invented. The first was Osvoji Jadran - Conquer Adriatic, translated in + 4 languages and distributed worldwide. The concept is internationally awarded with a medal for innovation in Geneva, Switzerland in April 2014.
MediterraNaut is the simulation of the Mediterranean in the board game. The player is taking the role of a skipper and, sailing around 25 countries, he discovers the uniquenesess of the 223 locations of the Mediterranean, local winds, sunken ships, overcome barriers in sailing and much more using cards and the rules. The goal is to visist as much is possible places and to conquer regattas, to collect the cards with points. The winner is a player with the biggest score when all the cards are exhausted, or when the certain target score is reached. The target score is negotiable at the game start (30, 50 or 100 points).
One game consists: map, 223 cards, 6 wooden sailing boats, 1 wooden dice, 6 scoreboards and a rules.
In the game the player discovers the information about:
