“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity.”-Albert Einstein
About me
I'm Sarah, a Swiss-American[note 1] residing in Basel, the pharmaceutical capital of Switzerland. I come from a diverse family with varying beliefs, including both believers and non-believers. However, I personally believe in God without adhering to any specific religion. I strongly value diversity and harbor a distaste for nationalism, which I perceive as embodying elements of intellectual and racist fanaticism.
My work
As a scientist and medical professional with a Master's degree in both Science and Medicine, including specialties in Hematology, Allergy, Radiology, and Infectiology, my expertise spans across medical practice and research. I am dedicated to advancing the fields of medicine and genetics and currently work at the Genetic Disorders Research Branch, where I focus on identifying new treatments and improving patient outcomes for hereditary diseases.
Please note that while my first name, Sarah, is genuine, my second name belongs to one of my parents and is not the family name listed on my ID card or used online. Consequently, searching for that name will not lead you to me.
