About Me[edit]

I am a paid employee at the Library of Congress and currently Head of the Library's Science Reference Section. I help to manage and lead the section’s reference and research services, develop the Library’s science collections, and supervise an amazing group of professional librarians. We are working to make our holdings, publications, and other resources more accessible to the public by engaging directly with Wikipedia.

Goals[edit]

To provide solid and beneficial citations/references in Wikipedia articles.

Interests[edit]

My life revolves around science. I love learning about the world we live in and sharing what I have learned with others. So it makes perfect sense that I am a science librarian.

Conflict of Interest[edit]

When I am editing Wikipedia as part of my official professional duties, I always strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability. Because the educational mission of the Library of Congress is in line with Wikipedia's mission to disseminate knowledge freely, I will not make edits that I do not believe are in accordance with Wikipedia's practices and procedures. Therefore, I will not make substantive edits to articles related to the Library of Congress. Instead, if I edit articles, they will be to contribute subject matter expertise. If you believe I have made an error or violated Wikipedia’s norms, please do not hesitate to contact me.
