Bio[edit]

write: My name is Howard Nguyen and I am 21 years old. I was born in Everett, Washington, but my family is from Vietnam. I go to Everett Community college. I am interest in math because it my favorite subject. I think I want to be a math teacher.

In Wikipedia, I am interested in editing because this is new on me. I didn't know we could edit in Wikipedia.

Article Evaluation[edit]

I have been interested in Komodo dragon since I was 8 years old because they have the word "dragon" and it make me wonder when I was a kid if they are real dragon in my experience. But when I'm older, i understand that they're just lizard. I want to know more about Komodo dragon because I want know what is their behavior and what can they do. I visited the Komodo dragon page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: combining topics into one, words never heard before, and update references.

Combining topic[edit]

I notice there are separate topic instead of one. For example, I found "saliva" and "venom" page separate. They should combine these section into one topic because Komodo dragon's saliva are poison and their venom contain bacteria that kill their prey. I got the information from the Wikipedia page. The page should be called "Are Komodo dragon poisonous ?" topic.

Words never heard before[edit]

I have noticed there are some unfamiliar words I never heard before. It hard to understand the words i never heard before. For example, there was the word "taxonomic". I don't know what's it means in the Komodo dragon's page. I look in the internet and it means what are their characteristics. They should highlight the word "taxonomic". Another example, there was this other word "parthenogenesis". I also look that up in the internet and i don't know what it means. They should explain a little bit about "parthenogenesis".

Updated references[edit]

They should update their references because some of their old references doesn't work. One time I want to look up on Komodo dragon's saliva on the reference, but they said "sorry this page doesn't exist" or "page cannot be found". I think these references must have been deleted or it shouldn't exist. They should never delete their reference otherwise it useless to have a reference.

Summary[edit]

In conclusion, I think this is page is a little bit okay. All they need to do is keep the reference of their website, highlight some word that never heard before, and combine some sections into topic. They also should have more detail about Komodo dragon. For example, it didn't mention about their environment. I think there's a 50% chance this page should update.
