I Hate News!

It's not new if it's been repeated for the past 24 hours; at least 24 old.

You should know better then to believe the Agreeable, Neuroticism, Extrovert media that is making errant claims of a private company and public community. The reason free speech is important may seem like a revealed truth. It's not. If you, any you, are not able to share your ideas with out threat of menaces, you are disabled in your ability to clearly construct an understanding of your world and environment and to mobilize that understanding.

  • In India under British occupations, it was a crime to organize. This was violated. It was not for the population of India's benefit that Indian law constrict the actions of Indian's it was to aid the British who controlled India.
  • In Europe in 1935, Jewish grottoes were not to help the Jews.
  • In our own year of 2019: 8ch.net is a example of free speech and individual literariness; liberties that are expensive and at time inconvenient are being attached.

The thoughts of journalists who have never posted on 8ch.net and probably never would have, or would in the future, are crafted a journalist's personality. A popular collection of beliefs that bobs and weaves with the times. A personality of all seasons, to paraphrase Sam Vaknin. What a Journalist and what an 8chan poster want are very different. It is out of the legerdemain (2nd usage) of a journalist to summarize what 8chan is. A Journalist, as is consistent with the assumptions of Cognitive behavioral therapy and the formulation of their personality, are driven by a desire for social communion (agreeableness), a need to exclaim there thoughts to a reactive audience (extroversion), and the need to reassure of the near unspeakable doom that is to come (neuroticism); perhaps why the news in so reliably negative.

On the other hand we have the 8chan poster. He is usually male. He dose not value extroverted behavior (even though it is a community there is no guarantee that any one will respond to you on the site, or that your thread would be deleted. So why you are screaming, it's more like into a void then it is a primed audience.), is very dis-agreeable. If we accept that culture is a reflection of the values, which are opinions, selected for by a group with a similar personality, then we can say that 8chan does not share the same culture as the journalist or the culture that the journalist sells in journalistic product to. This shouldn't come as a surprise eating raw fish it's the main-stream US culture. You can really pick out any small unpopular social group and say they have a dissimilar culture. It's not an accomplishment as a journalist might think it is such. 8chan culture:

  • Values the meme, a visual image that works much the same as a play on words. They can be as crude, violent, sexual, and all at the same time as your imagination allows. There is no direct attribution of status to the quality of meme that can be shared.
  • Sharing of images, not only memes, is encourage. As is with all imageboards. However here is where the cultural distinction breaks down, as there are as many different boards used by the same and different people. You can't say the board = identity. For example, you can go to /pol and say very mean things about the Democratic Party, then go to /hikki and brag about how you are depressed and have not left your house in a week and have no non essential human constant, and then go to /anime and look at hu-cow porn of cartoon women in the Japanese cartoon style. Romantic ideas of Chivalry and what some still try to call decency don't exist and are not actionable.
  • So is 8chan Anarchy? Like with everything, it depends on how you are defining it. It's certainly not Anarchy in the violent hedonistic scene. You can't delete other's posts, you can't hid form others posts, and you don't know who anyone else is. There is moderation (contrary to journalistic belief), however it is not targeted at mean and or unpopular content. Boards and the site have rules, sometimes boards have stricter rules then the global site, but as long as the rules are followed they you have no other nu-written limit. It's anarchy in the librarian sense, meaning your own responsibility to follow the rules that every one knows about.
  • Unlike with other internet communities where you are removed for not fitting in, for not being in lock-step with the rest of the mob. There is no such stricture on 8chan. Nothing illegal, but if you want to be rude or share your anger you can. This opens a can of worms that is not looked at on the lifes of Facebook or Twitter and others: Is it safe to dare to be unpopular. Even on youtube, if you share about how shit and unhappy for day and life is, you are shunned and threatened by a mob of users how hate the decent of the ideas of perfection. "Have you ever tried to make an unpopular tweet?" Well know, that's not the game on those sites. On such sites, twitter, the game is to go viral, to became very popular. 8chan is so unpopular that people when first hearing about it in connection to the TX shooting, that it was a miss spelling of 4chan, another imageboard.

{ Another insurrection against men perpetrated by folk-socialists. see Gad Saad on male college rates. An other great example of pathologising male-ness {kindergartners given ADHAD medication, no recess, targets males } }
