Brand History

[edit]Sichuan Jinhhe Konjac Products Factory was established by Liu Lei's father.
2007
[edit]Sichuan Sentaiyuan Food Co., Ltd. [3] was founded by Liu Lei's elder brother, Liu Ke, and the "Sentai" brand was created at the same time.
2012
[edit]The brand name Hethstia [4] was created by Liu Lei, combining "Healthy" and "Hestia" (the ancient Greek goddess of the hearth and home). In the same year, Sichuan Sentaiyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established. [5]
2013
[edit]Hethstia was awarded certifications: EC, NOP, BRC and IFS. [6]
2021
[edit]The only konjac technology demonstration park in the country was established in Muchuan County, awarded by the national civil affairs department and the China Konjac Association named it as the "Hometown of Konjac in China". [7]
Since 2015, Hethstia has cooperated with the Konjac Research Major of Southwest University to research improved konjac varieties. The company has built an integrated platform for planting, technology research and development, and product sales, and has obtained 1 invention patent, 39 utility model technology patents, [8] and multiple trademarks. [edit]Hethstia owns over 33 million square meters of traditional farmland and 400,000 square meters of organic konjac farms. [10]
Products
[edit]A wide range of products including konjac noodles, konjac rice, konjac dietary fiber powder, organic konjac powder, seasoned konjac noodles, konjac jelly, and more are offered by Hethstia. The products have been awarded certifications such as BRC, IFS, FDA, Japanese Organic(JAS), American Organic(NOP), EU Organic, HALAL, and KOSHER. Those products are exported to over 60 countries and regions, including Europe, America, Japan, and Asia. Annually, the company processes 80,000 tons of fresh konjac, produces over 14,000 tons of konjac products, and achieves sales revenue of 200 million RMB. [11]
