Biker Jim's is a restaurant in Denver, Colorado, founded by "Biker" Jim Pettinger. The restaurant's primary food items are hot dogs made of many types of meat, including reindeer, rattlesnake, and boar.
History
[edit]Biker Jim's was founded as a food cart on Denver's 16th Street Mall, near Skyline Park. Its owner, Pettinger, had previously worked performing motor vehicle repossessions.[1]
Food
[edit]The most common item from Biker Jim's is a sausage consisting of game meat such as elk, buffalo, or rattlesnake. The sausages are served in a hot dog roll with an assortment of toppings, including a combination of cream cheese and onions which are caramelized in Coca-Cola.
