Low-carbon infrastructure means any economic infrastructures that reduce greenhouse gas such as renewable energy infrastructure, fossil fuel power plants with carbon capture and storage (CCS) facilities, and public transportation systems.[1] Low-carbon infrastructure is also referred to as "green infrastructure."[2]
